On September 17th, the fashion models/actresses Anne (23) and Sasaki Nozomi (21), who are both popular among teens, attended a press announcement held in Tokyo for the upcoming TV anime series 'Rose O'Neil Kewpie'. To celebrate Kewpie's 100th birthday, Kewpie will become a 26 episode TV anime series to be broadcast on WOWOW. It is the first time for Kewpie to become an anime. The heartwarming story centers on Kewpie becoming friends with pure, innocent little children. The graphics are based on the original illustrations by Rose O'Neil, and the coloring and touches make the characters look as if they came out of a picture book with handmade drawings. Anne flashed a smile and commented. "This is the first time for me to become a narrator for an anime. I'll work hard to match the cute looks of the series." Sasaki seemed eager to start as well. "I hope I can narrate cutely enough to equal Kewpie's cuteness." Hopes are already high for the anime.
