EXILE to Again Sing Title Theme Song for Drama!

2009-09-18
release / EXILE

EXILE will sing the title theme song for the new drama series '東京DOGS / Tokyo DOGS', set to begin from October!
From the double-a single 'THE GENERATION / ふたつの唇 (THE GENERATION / Futatsu no Kuchibiru ) [lit. 'Two Lips']', 'ふたつの唇 / Futatsu no Kuchibiru' will become the main soundtrack. It will be the first time in 8 years for EXILE to provide a song for a 'getsuku' drama. ['Getsuku 月9' literally means 'Mondays from 9 o'clock. It is Japanese equivalent of 'Primetime TV'.] 8 years ago their debut single had become the main theme song for the Fuji TV drama series 'できちゃった結婚 / Dekichatta Kekkon' (broadcast from July to September 2001), and the very song had propelled the group to stardom. HIRO reminisced about old times and also showed his appreciation for having his group's song featured again as the main theme song for a 'getsuku' drama. "8 years have passed since we were given the opportunity to make our major debut. From then we experienced our fair share of ups and downs. But by meeting and getting to know many people, and having those people help and support us, we were able to become what we are now. We genuinely hope we can find a way to fully repay for their generosity."
