What program are you watching on December 31st this year? There are probably a lot of people who are going out to visit the shrine during new years, too. But some of the MJP editors are more of the type to spend time at home, just relaxing into the new year.

Every year around new years eve, there is the NHK program "Kohaku Uta Gassen", which I can't miss! Each year a great variety of artists are appearing on the program, which holds a lot to look forward to.

During this years "Kohaku Uta Gassen", the performance of L'Arc-en-Ciel - the first in ten years - has been announced!! But then, weren't L'Arc-en-Ciel also scheduled to perform at Makuhari Messe Hall on the break of January 1st at 0:00?
There seems to be a great fighting spirit around that day. Look forward on to how the program will be recorded that actual day!

There are a lot of exciting artists, who will be performing at "Kohaku" for the first time, like AAA, HY or Nishino Kana.
"I will give my best to contribute to the winning of the white team!" AAA commented on their performance. All summed up, there will be a total of 44 artists and artist groups at this years "Kohaku Uta Gassen". It's going to be a great night!
