Last year from October to December Miura Haruma appeared in the TBS drama series 'ブラッディ・マンデイ / Bloody Monday' as the lead actor. Now he is set to appear in the sequel to be broadcast from January. 'Bloody Monday' was Miura's breakthrough drama, and 'Season 2' is already attracting attention.

For the previous series Miura played the part of the genius hacker Fujimaru and fought against cyber-terrorists. The new series takes place two years after those incidents. Now he has to prevent terrorists from using nuclear weapons. As a hijacked plane carrying a nuclear bomb gradually makes its way towards Tokyo, Fujimaru must use his hacking skills to stop it from detonating in the capital of Japan.

Miura sounded enthusiastic about the drama. "This drama is very important to me since it was the first time for me to play the lead actor. I'm happy that I've been given the opportunity to appear in it again. I will work hard to show viewers how much the main character Fujimaru and I have matured."
