The movie 'BANDAGE' starring KAT-TUN member Akanishi Jin will premiere on January 16th next year. Akanishi will release a new single as a member of the band 'LANDS' that appears in the film!
The movie takes place in the 1990s when rock bands were all the rage in Japan. The story centers on a group of young men who devote themselves to music. Akanishi plays the role of Natsu, who is the vocalist of the rock band 'LANDS'. The title theme song for the film is performed by Natsu and LANDS, and now that song will be released as a single. It is scheduled to go on sale this autumn.
The song was written by music producer Kobayashi Takeshi. He will also make his directorial debut with this film. Kobayashi and Akanishi appeared at the fashion event Tokyo Girls Collection in Tokyo and revealed the song for the first time. Akanishi commented about the song. "Since I never had performed a song like this one in my career, I was not sure how to sing it. But I put my trust in Kobayashi-san and followed his advice." The director Kobayashi was confident about the film's mass appeal! "I'm sure both adults and young people will enjoy the movie."
