The winner of "Tokyo Candoll", We=MUKASHIBANASHI will perform at Japan Expo Paris 2019!

"We=MUKASHIBANASHI", an idol unit of five members whom work under the concept of "returning to childlike innocence" and "folklore melody" considers folklore (mukashibanashi) as "childlike innocence". Their debut live of five members opened with full capacity, and as their unit name presents, each member is in charge of a Japanese folklore (mukashibanashi). "SAKI in charge of Sarukanigassen" is of blue costume, "MAKI in charge of Warashibechoja" of red costume, "GASHI in charge of Shitakirisuzume" of purple costume, "SANA in charge of Issunboshi" of green costume, and "YUMI in charge of Tsurunoongaeshi" is of black costume. They aim to become a unit whom can approach many adjacent cultures centering on activities as idols.

And We=MUKASHIBANASHI performed at "Tokyo Candoll", the Japan Expo official tournament event which opened during February through May this year and won. "Tokyo Candoll" is a Japan Expo official collaboration tournament event which started in 2015. Approx.100 groups of Japanese idols gather from all over Japan and the winner is determined by the votes of the audience whom attend the venue. And this year approx.5000 idol fans visited the venue at the primary. It is an event which collects attention not only from idol fans but also from the people of the industry.

The winner of the "Tokyo Candoll" is offered the right to perform at the live stage of Japan Expo 2019. We=MUKASHIBANASHI will deliver a Kawaii stage at Japan Expo as the representative of the Japanese idol.
