DIR EN GREY

In an interview with Tokyo Sports, released on October 24th, DIR EN GREY's Leader KAORU talks about the loss of strength in his right hand openly.

As he said, it started in 2014 when he felt that his index finger felt strange and not as a part of his body anymore. He also mentions that he lost the pick while being on stage quite often at this time.

He said: "There's just no power going inside my index finger. I thought a lot about it but then it spread to my thumb which supported my index finger. And then the other three fingers got worse as well. It doesn't really lead to any problems in everyday life but(...)"

He said he visited a lot of doctors and finally got told that the ligament of his sinew and and joint got loose and said the following: "It seems like a occupational disease. The doctors said it would heal but in the recent conditions the symptoms will not change, so while being on stage I tend to glue the pick to my fingers and play with that."

Furthermore he said: "It can't be helped. I can't do anything but give it time to heal."

Fans all over the world might sigh with relief though as it seems that KAORU's finger are going to recover if he gives it some time and rest.
