In November 2011, YOSHIKI had already announced that there had been "quite a big offer from Hollywood" and people had been way curious as to what kind of offer this could have been.
It has now been revealed that YOSHIKI had been offered to write the theme song for this year's Golden Globe award ceremony.
The award ceremony, which had been held for over 50 years, until now didn't have such a thing as a theme song, which makes the offer even more astounding.
YOSHIKI, who had also been attending the Golden Globes in 2011 said about the making of the song: "I am a classic pianist and a rock drummer, therefore it will be natural to create a beautiful, yet edgy song."
This year's Golden Globes will be aired on January 15th via NBC.
