Amuro Namie Contributing First Theme Song in Almost 15 Years!

2011-10-10
Amuro Namie / TV series / release

Since October this year, Fuji TV is airing the new TV series "Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu (Lit.: 'The reason I am not good with love')" every Monday at 9:00pm. It has now been announced that Amuro Namie will be contributing her new song, of which the title is still unpublished to the dorama.

The last time Amuro had one of her songs used for a TV series was in 1997 for the program "Virgon Road" with her song "CAN YOU CELEBRATE?".

The reason why she had been chosen, was that the producer of the show had thought that no one but Amuro would be fitting to participate this way. It had to be a woman, too. While Amuro has still the charisma of a young talent, she is meant to give courage to her listeners all the same.

Moreover, lead actress Karina is also known to be a big Amuro fan, going to see her concerts regularly.

It seems that the whole arrangement was indeed a perfect match!
Details on the song's release are soon to be announced.
