As the ever popular雅-miyavi- continues his world tour, all sorts of interesting things are happening!
In this limited period tour diary written from around the globe, we will deliver to all ‘Ko-Miyavi (仔雅; Miyavi-fans)' everything that goes on during the tour!
#7 Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009 (Cloudy and sometimes rain) Helsinki
Last night after a 2 hour trip from Tampere, 雅-miyavi- and his crew had arrived in Helsinki.
Today as part of the 6 concerts for 6 days in a row in the EU, 雅-miyavi- performed his second live act in the Finnish capital.
The refreshing air seemed to ‘taste' good, and the scenery was gorgeous. The Finland concert was performed in front of a sellout crowd!
There was some extra time before雅-miyavi- and co. had to go to the venue, so the writer of this diary decided to walk around the city.
The writer went into a CD store and found that it had a ‘Japanese Music' section.
The first thing that she found was the 雅-miyavi- concert DVD ‘下克上 / Gekokujo'!
It was kind of strange but exciting to see that雅-miyavi-‘s samurai spirit has reached music fans in the land of the Vikings.
Eventually it was time for雅-miyavi- to get on his van and go to the venue.
As was the case yesterday, the van went straight past the fans lining up.
The tickets for today's concert had completely sold out, so despite the rain there were LOTS of fans waiting in line!
But also like yesterday, because of the darkened windows of the van, nobody recognized that雅-miyavi- was in it!
“Nobody notices me♪ Notices me♪…Hey, I could make a song out of this.”
Maybe it will become his next new song!
The music venue for today had a great atmosphere and was perfect for a rock ‘n' roll concert.
(By the way, the driver Mr. Contos said he had been the driver for Britney Spears and Slipknot too.)
Lots of fan letters and handmade gifts were sent to雅-miyavi-‘s dressing room. It was easy to see that each letter and present was made with a considerable amount of effort!
Among them, there were drawings of雅-miyavi- and also a pair of little Moomin [Finnish fictional character] socks for雅-miyavi-‘s daughter Lovelie-chan☆
In between interviews and rehearsals, 雅-miyavi- intently read each message from his fans.
Having seen雅-miyavi- read the fan mails so seriously, it made you want to go out and tell that everybody's love has reached 雅-miyavi- !
During the concert雅-miyavi- spoke in both Finnish and English. Through the exciting live performance雅-miyavi- was able to establish a strong connection with Finland's Ko-Miyavi.
At the last part of the encore, 雅-miyavi- and the packed crowds together sang ‘As you're♪'.
For the second country of the tour, 雅-miyavi- and his crew completed two concerts in Finland.
They headed for the next stop, Stockholm of Sweden!
See you again tomorrow☆
